2023 Lavender Season Recap

As I sit here, I'm starting to see the leaves on some trees yellow. I cannot believe it is already September! Where did the summer go? This year, Aurora Lavender Farm was certainly busy. Back on June 24th, we started our season with U Pick Lavender, various educational classes, yoga, the first annual vendor day festival, and two collaborations with Birdhouse Brewing. As soon as July ended, we were busy harvesting, distilling, and processing our lavender. Although we are a small lavender farm (500 plants), the amount of lavender that goes through our hands is unbelievable. We are very fortunate to have this little micro climate near Honeoye Lake to help our plants continue to produce and thrive. Before you know it, we'll be covering the lavender for the winter. Thank you to everyone for allowing us to share our small piece of paradise with you. We hope to see you back next season. Until then, you can find our products online at our website (order to pick up at the farm or ship) and in-person at Simply Small Town Gifts and More on Main St in Honeoye, WE Shop on Main St in Lima, Little Lakes Gift Shop on Main St in Hemlock, and Beacon Farm Market in Hopewell. We will also be vending at the Bristol Mountain Fall Festival and The Holiday Market at Birdhouse Brewing.

Please enjoy some pictures from this past lavender season.
