Waking up from winter to exciting new things

Waking up from winter to exciting new things sounds like the beginning of a wonderful adventure! Whether it's literal or metaphorical, emerging from the quiet, contemplative season of winter into the vibrant energy of spring can bring a sense of renewal and anticipation. What new things are you excited about?

Here are on the farm, we are creating a new logo that captures all the elements of our business. Combining the essence of lavender with the sweetness of honey and the richness of maple is a delightful fusion highlighting nature's gifts. We are building a new barn to house our equipment, process lavender, and host farm classes. The building is not just about practicality; it's about creating a space that embodies the spirit of our farm and fosters our connection with nature. For the upcoming lavender season classes, we are personally excited to be teaching the majority of our classes. Be on the lookout for our class and event schedule to be posted this week!

Speaking of waking up from winter, our lavender has been uncovered and is gradually acclimating to the cool spring weather. Lavender is resilient, but it can take its time to wake up from its winter dormancy. Giving it the space and time it needs to acclimate to the changing seasons is key to ensuring its health and vitality. It's reassuring to know that even when it may look dormant, it's just waiting for the right moment to burst forth with new growth and fragrance. Patience and gentle care will surely be rewarded with a beautiful display of lavender in due time.
