Lavender Calendula Salve Making Class - Saturday

Creating herbal salves to nourish and protect your skin makes a unique gift for yourself and others. Learn the best way to infuse plants in oil for blending with local, unfiltered beeswax for a rich, non-greasy skin ointment. This workshop will use lavender and calendula to make your own salve. You will also receive directions and ideas using other plants for a variety of purposes. Kate Aghaghiri has earned an Herbalist Certificate of Completion from Rosemary Gladstar's course from Sage Mountain, The Science and Art of Herbalism. She created her business, Flower to Flower Herbal Crafts and Gifts,  to share her knowledge with those interested in learning about the plants growing around us.  Coupled with her combined interest in herbalism and crafting, Kate will guide you through exploring your own talents and sharing in the love of nature to produce wondrous gifts for yourself and others.
